Are these goals compatible with Canon Rebel DSLR?
"Hoya 52mm telephoto zoom manual focus 200mm-80" is the title of this product on ebay and I'm wondering if it is compatible with the Canon Rebel digital SLR. What about the Olympus 70-200mm? If you can, tell me if it is a good quality lens or not. Thanks!
You should buy them and find out! No, seriously, however, is quite important to have the ability to find out what the hell you're buying and is compatible with what you have. If you knew nothing about digital SLR should quickly realize that Olympus and Canon do not happen to make lenses for the same mounting. While it is possible to adapt certain glass with the EOS Mount Olympus, which is obviously outside the scope of knowledge. And now the "Hoya 52mm telephoto zoom 80-200mm manual focus. "If you read the bloody ad says it is for the assembly of K and gives a link to the cameras that use the K mount. For your information Canon EOS Rebel uses the assembly. So it is not compatible. The telephoto Hoya is actually made by Osawa, Hoya filter is the mark of the type is in the lens, and zoom as old as the one usually awful, not to mention it goes for just $ 8 Buy it Now. In conclusion, do not buy anything from Ebay or generally until you have read even on cameras.

great camera for users of old Minolta!,
I use this unit for several weeks and I'm very impressed. What are the pros, in my opinion:
(1) The device is very light and balanced use of Lens 1918-1955. My wife was very surprised by the weight, or lack thereof.
(2) Minolta Maxxum AF works perfectly with this camera! Tele I have two old (20 years) that produce incredible pictures with the new Sony. My old flash zoom function Well, even if I adjust the exposure manually. While the new Sony lenses are much lighter, more quality lenses can be purchased on auction sites at a fraction of the cost new goal. Just remember to be much heavier than modern optics today.
(3) The A330 works well as a point and shoot automatic camera, but also allows the flexibility to configure everything manually if desired. I especially appreciate the ease of adjusting the white balance for pictures of the lights changing lighting conditions. Depth of field was easy to adjust aperture priority.
(4) The picture quality is exceptional. Show production HD on my Sony Bravia via HDMI is an amazing way to preview photos. My progress remote even photos of my camera I look at that picture!
(5) both take an SD Memory Card and Memory Stick Pro Duo cards simultaneously. When it is full, the attraction of a change switch to another card. Memory is limited mainly by the size of your portfolio.
(6) 3200 ISO setting does well in low light, although there is a little grain.
Here are a few drawbacks:
(1) Some functions are buried in menus. This seems to be the course these days for all camera manufacturers.
(2) When passing a camera of 8 mega pixels, it creates files much more high 10.2. It is important to keep in mind that photos will be used, then adjust the resolution accordingly.
(3) The pop-up flash hits the hat!
I researched carefully before buying this camera. The main selling point was the possibility of using my old Minolta lenses and tilt the screen back. This camera reminds me of my old 35mm. It's like I'm actually taking photos again, instead of simply capturing digital images. Those who want or need more features Sony should focus on the high end. But for beginners and intermediate photographers, it must meet the requirements of law!
Compare day Past … After more than 1000 shots, very very happy,
Ok, I spent days, literally, carefully comparing input -end digital SLR (Canon XS, XSi, Nikon D3000, D5000, kx Pentax) and have even made my own Excel spreadsheet ranking of each technical pros and cons. Clearly, finally opted for the A330, so I'll write this review in the light of reason why I chose this camera and I enjoyed it immensely.
Image Quality
– Since you are looking for a digital SLR entry-level quality image for all input levels is comparable (in my opinion). Since I am a shooter in hand, the quality of my photos are actually based on values (opening, shutter speed, ISO, light, etc.) because you will be able to get a good quality of each.
"I rate the A330 a little more unusual, because in manual mode, Sony has something called" Creative Style ", where you can narrow your photo (color, night, sunset, etc. … and each of these modes, you can change, even more saturation, sharpness and contrast). See some of my photos in my profile!
Lentils
"This is one reason why the first round of Sony Alpha is my short list – any Sony or Minolta lenses work with this device. In addition, because the image stabilization built into the camera and not the objective, the cost is reasonable compared to other objectives. Therefore, all the goals that I can find on eBay I can use (no need to worry if one or more lenses Sony lenses Minolta job, so my choice is unlimited).
Speed
– Despite the continuous shooting is not the fastest in its class, is certainly unnecessary. The first time I looked at FPS, I thought it was something that was high on my list of features, but it is (unless you are a sports event photographer) when something even pulled relativity, you end up with tons of photos, which has Finally delete most of them. It goes from 2.5 to 3 fps to be faster than I need.
– As reported by the respondents, FY is fast (with a 9-point AF), and switching between Live View and the optical viewer is very fast too!
Battery
– The battery is pretty decent, especially since I'm not shooting with flash. But here is my work at all: I just used a vertical grip, adding total of three batteries seamlessly use ([...]). This makes your camera grip that 2k-5k great rooms, and give 3XS battery.
A230 vs A330
– As those who have studied this well, the A230 is exactly the same camera as the A330, but I have not seen live and screen Tilting LCD. I'm definitely getting the A230, the viewfinder is better, and the price is at a great price. But I realized that I love you shooting with live view, because in the manual mode, live view gives me an estimate of the opening, attention, shutter speed and ISO on my camera vs. the viewfinder on the A230, which show nothing of all this (in the event viewer, I'm just stuck waiting at the preview displays, so you need to check and adjust each shot, etc.) So the live view saves me time and space on my SC card and obtain photographs of the first or second, depending on time in April or May!
I could write all about my experience with the A3000 and A5000 Nikon and Canon XSi and XS but I will just after the test I like all the best Sony
ps I realize Nikon and Canon are more prevalent in the market of digital SLRs, so I wanted to give a real opportunity for Sony – FYI, I have a Canon HD video camera, which I love better than all models of Sony, so for Video definitely go with a Canon.

What is your opinion on buying cameras and lenses on eBay?
You have a good deal on eBay and got the equipment and a good price really? I supervised the auction on ebay 100-300mm lens Canon for a few days. Currently the new Canon EF 100-200mm camera with autofocus, no USM 130USD. I saw an auction ended with the final price at 81USD. This seems like a good deal. But most cases end Auction prices near or above the actual selling price. But I'm looking at these few days. What is your opinion or experience about this? Thank you for sharing
Just Make sure the seller has a good rating. 2) Read the fine print. 3) It is risky to buy something without guarantee that this is not directly from the manufacturer. Try to make sure it is Canon. I feel more comfortable with a guarantee. Hope That helps.
