Canon EOS 450D vs Sony A350?
What should I get for my first digital SLR? The Canon EOS 450D is the same thing as the EOS Rebel XSi (NA) and EOS Kiss X2 in Japan. What do you recommend and why? What is more future proof? I'll be getting the single lens kit for both. Or should I buy body only and buy a better lens? I've heard bad things about the objectives of the kit.

Canon Rebel XSi – great camera, Nice Lcd Software, Good, easy PC integration
Not much I can say here that others have not already said, I'm just adding my voice to a well thought out and operation of the camera. Canon has been praised for its online digital cameras for years, and this model is always a pleasure to use and own. Things I am super critical technology that I am a veteran of 27 years tech head.
Battery life is very good and memory is cheap compared to what it was. I would like to continue with the class 4 or 6 SDHC memory cards.
Although not a professional photographer, appearance technique combining the device with a PC and software, provided a satisfactory solution. The software is pretty decent, not the best, but does the job. Delivered Adobe Lightroom or Picasa from Google simple and you're good to go with managing your photos.
If Lightroom and Picasa can display RAW images and editing this file format is exceptional. The camera software and service packs for Windows lets you use a laptop computer to control the camera and settings, the images on a larger screen, and instantly save RAW / JPG file formats on the disk. This is a big advantage when in a studio.
Your image viewer ZoomBrowser is very functional and usable. Although now I'm using Picasa to manage and Lightroom images, ZoomBrowser is certainly capable of any beginner to intermediate user.

Gun Rebel XSi – Great camera
Just bought the camera and found all that wanted and more. They used 35mm cameras for years, and digital cameras. It is a big step above the standard point and shoot cameras, and it is very easy to use and benefit improvements. Very easy to use, great pictures, especially when using software options out there like Photoshop. Took over 600 pictures while in Savannah this month and they like the idea of framing pictures during the filming. I highly recommend this Camera and I can not wait to get a telephoto lens. I wish I bought that too, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Looking to improve Lens 55-200mm next. The battery lasts forever!

Canon EOS 450D or Nikon D90? Why?
I am currently in a dilemma on the choice of digital SLR. I do not know which of the two, better. I know that most people here on Yahoo! Best answer that Nikon is for certain reasons but I do not know too much about this because I have Nikon Coolpix S230 (Digital camera) and your shots are very, very poor color and a bit fuzzy compared to my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55. Canon has a second Good color / saturation buy Nikon (for some), but their old lenses are not compatible with the latest cameras. So what do you think is better? If please help me …
Firstly, I love Nikon. In fact, I own the Nikon D90. It was my first digital SLR. I'm broken when I had to choose the best choice: Canon or Nikon? I went with the Nikon D90 to the Canon 40D for me.
