I consider myself an amateur in photography and this article is written in such a way. I always had a weakness for cameras and photography. Over the past 10 years, I had many different types of digital cameras and only a few months, I decided that My time was on a "professional" camera. By professional I mean the SLR.

I spend hours surfing the web search for the perfect for me, an amateur photographer. At the end, I decided to buy the Canon EOS 1000D. This unit is recommended for beginners and fans and has all the functionality you need a professional photographer.

I bought the camera with the lens Stock, 18-55mm. Although this is a great lens, always advisable to buy another. This lens is ideal if you take pictures of objects that are near you, ranging from 1-5meters. If you want to take pictures of objects closer than that, I recommend a macro lens. If you need to take pictures of objects away you should invest in a zoom.

The stock battery that comes with the camera is great. I had to load for 2-3 months after purchasing the camera. The device connects easily to a computer via USB, the Canon software supplied with the camera, it is easy transfer photos to the computer.

I recommend the EOS 1000D for anyone who is serious photography, but is not willing to spend thousands of dollars on an SLR camera yet. In general, I value the 7 1000D 10. It is very simple and easy to use, even an idiot like me technically challenged.
