Canon Lenses For Beginners
what kind of lens should I buy for my new canon eos rebel T1i?

I do not want to spend more than $ 200 and I'm just a beginner, but as I am going to get Christmas money very soon, I can if really needed. I read online that the older EF mount is compatible with this body, so I've been watching some of these lenses. Is this true? and do you think is a good idea? really just wants to get an idea of different lengths and have fun with them so i do not need nothing too nice. Any suggestions?

it all depends on what you want to do with the lens and the type of images you want to take. I much my 50 mm f 1:1.8 fixed for almost all the pictures I take inside. which has a high resolution and need not fiddle with a zoom to take photos inside, including in low light. used this lens to photograph a wedding and reception and just put the other two lenses i took it to everyone. remember that vaccines are dictate the objective to be used. and EF If we all work in this body.
