I need to put Canon FD lenses on a 42mm screw mount. Canon made an “Adapter B” for this; where can I buy one?

Canon’s old Adapter B is supposed to be able to attach Canon FD manual focus lenses to a 42mm screw mount. I would like one of these adapters, but can’t find one for sale anywhere online. Any help?

Canon telephoto lenses, help me decide?

I am looking for a 70-200 Canon lens to use on my 5D. Two local seller have theirs for sale. One is the 70-200 F4L for $460 and the other is the 70-200 F4L IS (Image stabilization) for $900. I will be shooting mostly sports (kids footballs, baseball) Should I save the $$$ and get the non IS version?

The EF 70-200mm f/4L and the f/4L IS are both excellent lens. If you can spring for the IS version you will be getting their latest gen IS which 4-stops capable. Since the 3rd Gen IS have two modes (1=stationary 2=Panning) you can certainly use Mode 2 for sports (thats what its for). You can get action stopping shutter speeds and even shallow depth of field apertures with an f/4 or f/5.6. You will have to bump up the ISO if the light gets low but you can manage pretty well.
