Can I use my Sister as a Cosigner for a Personal Loan. She has great credit.?
I’ve been into photography for many years now. I own a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II and 13 EF L and Carl Ziess Lenses. Compatible with EOS Line cameras. My 1Ds Mark II fell off a cliff with the tripod and shattered the other day. I need it for a paid photo shoot I’ll be doing next week. I absolutely need either a 1Ds Mark III or Mark II. I don’t have a credit history at all and neither does my mother or father. Can my sister cosign for a personal loan? Her credit score is 780. The Camera Body is $6000.00 I can make a small downpayment but no more than $500.00.

If your sister agrees to lend her good name to you to get this equipment, sure, she can cosign. Whether you would qualify is another story. You would have to prove income with tax returns or paycheck stubs etc. Same with your sister.
The thing is, cosigning is never a good idea. It rarely, if every turns out well. It causes stress between the borrower and the one who lent their name. You realize that by charging 6k worth of stuff, if your sister were to need to apply for a loan herself, this may impede her ability to get credit herself.
I always advise against cosigning.

Looking for a camera (please help)?
I was looking up some cameras to buy, and found a few that I liked. When i went back to look at them again online, I couldn’t find them, and my google chrome internet wont open. so I cant check the history.
the cameras were not slr’s but weren’t the normal point-and-shoot. they had the lenses that you can’t take off.
i know one was nikon, the other two I’m guessing were canon and pentax?
Not sure.
if you cant find these, do you recommended any?
