Canon Lenses Lineup
What should I buy lenses for my camera?

I have a 550D (T2i) and I wanted to make a Canon range of lenses for me to establish an objective and that I would not waste my money on lenses useless. I have a 18-55mm IS kit AF-S and i plan to have three lenses (not necessarily including the 18-55). By So, I wanted to ask your advice. Im in nature, and portrait photography in black and white. Thanks for your help!

Since you are wanting to have the few lenses in your case, I suggest you go with a constant aperture zoom and some nice bonus. If you are wanting to build a collection of quality lenses also should plan to replace the kit lens with a lens of higher quality. An f/2.8 zoom would be nice. Something in the 17-50mm-50mm or 18 range. Then, an f/2.8 zoom telephoto. These are generally 70-200mm. Then, one or both of these: 50 mm, as the f / 1.8 (at $ 100) or f/1.4 ($ 350) would be ideal for portraits. Telephoto macro, as 90 mm or 100 mm would be good and could also be used for portraits.
