"I can use the Sony range angle conversion lens for my Canon Powershot S3 IS? Please tell me all the details.?
I wonder all details as I'm buying online or by phone. Thanks! But I live in Cebu, the Philippines, and not many options here converter lenses. I tried Canon Marketing call Cebu and no one answers. Since I found some threads mentioning that Sony Tele-converter lenses work on the S3 IS, I'm assuming the converters wide angle work as well. At least I can order from Sony here.
Most likely not. Each converter lens is designed for optics of a certain objective. To achieve a conversion lens that works on your Canon, you need to look further and see what makes Canon for the camera.
Canon Lenses Online
Leica 35mm

Focal length equivalent
– A "normal" is considered to be a focal length is approximately equal to the length of a diagonal line through the movie format. With the 35mm format, the diagonal of a film frame is 43 mm.
