Do you have a goal? All owners of digital SLR should have at least one fast lens fixed lens on your camera bag. The lenses are important, and can reduce weight and cost. When the situation requires, however, a good primary objective may be the best friend of a photographer. In the following article, you will learn what is one of the main objectives and the many ways in a given focal length lens can improve your photos.

She does long way to avoid the photographer zooms. The focal length lenses, one, called Prime lenses, were faster, more lighter and less expensive. More importantly, the first lenses offer superior sharpness and image quality.

Fortunately, manufacturers of lenses have been able to significantly improve the zoom lenses so that its image quality is almost the first pair of lenses, which has been a tremendous boon for photographers, who can replace a whole bag filled with a glass or two zooms. If the image quality was the only criterion, most photographers could easily get by with a couple of zooms Nice. Of course, it is the targeting of image quality, and there are many situations where the objective is a better choice.

Speed

It is generally easier and less costly build a fast zoom lens with a simple and few can equal the quality of low light of a primary target. Prime lenses with maximum aperture of f/1.8 or more are common. In contrast, most zoom lenses were superior to f / 4 or less. Even the best and most expensive zoom rarely exceed maximum aperture than 2.8. The superior properties of light capture a good starting point can make a huge difference if you pull available inside or at night. It is true that you can rise to the ISO for improved management of the opportunity to photograph in low light. But high ISO can create quality problems. When existing light is low and does not break with a flash, his primary objective may be the solution.

Image Quality

I have already said to be close to reaching the parity with the prime lenses. In general, the optical requirements for the creation of a great prime lens is well understood, while the zoom Engineering enforcement powers to produce excellent results across the range. Although there are really good zoom on the market, many zooms are better at certain longitudes focal than others. The photographers tell of the sweet spot – the focal range of contact in a particular, offers the best performance. In other focal length, sharpness and contrast may suffer. Again, this is not true of all zoom lenses, but generally, it is much easier to design an excellent main objective is to design a zoom lens really superb. If the first large lenses are abundant, while a Zoom tracks are rare (and expensive!)

Size and weight

In general, the main objective is much more smaller and lighter than a zoom. The zoom will require more internal components, and there must be a mechanism to move items or more father to another. In addition, the quick drawings typically include large optical zoom to collect more light. Accordingly, a fast zoom is usually much larger and heavier than the goal. This is important when you want to use your digital SLR camera like a small walk around the camera. The main objective discreet also makes it easier to capture the peak, since the objective is much less remarkable than the wide zoom.

Cost

A quality zoom is more expensive than the primary purpose of AA, but the extra cost is partly offset by the fact that a zoom can be made several fixed focal length lenses. However, the price may be an important factor, especially if you are looking at very large or long-term goal. For example, an initial target of 300 mm is generally much cheaper than a good zoom, which includes a focal length of 300 mm.

Top Speed Auto-Focus

There are so many lenses on the market it is difficult to make a general statement on the auto-focus speed from the main lens zoom. However, the first lenses seem to fit in their approach more quickly than their cousins adjustable focal length. Some may resemble again the speed of light allows extra fast focusing lenses quickly. Additional elements in a zoom speed development can decrease as well. When the situation calls for rapid auto-focus, you can find a first objective is a better option.

There is always room for Start a small lens

When packing for a photo assignment, usually sacrifice my goal to gain weight and everything is in my bag. The wide zoom tend to be the first to be cut, unless I know I'm going to start shooting. Instead, my first short lenses occupy as little floor space of a slip or two in the case of the camera, just in case. If I need the lens, I am grateful that I brought it, but if I do not use it, I do not think it was a burden for long.

You can not use your main scanner every time you shoot, but you will find the first lenses offer many advantages that you want to have one or two primes Separate with you when you venture with his camera.

I need help .. glasses?

I would like to get some new lenses (I only have my Canon Rebel XS, and the lens kit) but I'm not very experienced and I do not know what to get. I probably like at least a wide angle and macro, and I therefore different kinds of different circumstances. I was also thinking maybe get a 50mm lens at high risk or something, to have something better than my comes as a kit lens, which I hear is almost trash (and first best believe that zooms, too). I do not know which lenses to get, the focal length and other things. Does anyone have any suggestions for me when it comes to lenses and buying?

50mm f/1.4 or f/1.8 are great! I recommend one of them:) It is really impressive, the work of almost all types of photography Photos terminate views and landscapes, is my favorite <3 and Macro 100mm f/2.8 Macro is really good for one of the best macro lenses I tried. for wide angle that could be 18-28 or so thing, but u can have a 18-200 zoom lens like ..
