I do not want a D40 .. I need something more than 22:00 and at least 7 points AF. The D60 looks good and all but only has 3 AF points. D80 seems similar to the X .. but twice the prince $ 800 + .. when mine was for sale Boxingday for $ 448. So im buying seems pointless really confused … Please help me, thanks guys so far in advance.

500D Camera – is a step in the right direction

I consider myself more of a techie, and photographer. Each year it seems to me a new camera manufacturers to add megapixels, more zoom, video, HD video, etc. .. that I bought last year in the same price. I gathered enough skills in photography Over the years playing with my new toys every year to have a moderate knowledge of the picture for now. The cameras are also used for part of my work where resoulution, zoom and the ability to quickly target is important. Advances in technology as in Last 3-4 years is amazing what you can do with a small camera and price you pay for it.

House said that the 500D has been My choice this year for my upgrade. (Last year was the Olympus E-510, which gave me a lot about how model and year before a Panasonic FZ18). Having the opportunity to shoot two pictures and the video was a great advantage for me to work and when shooting at home. The FZ18 is still my work, although the basis FZ35 most recent two years are now looking tempting. Regarding what the cameras Panasonic bridge can make a good outdoor lighting, is very similar to what is on my digital SLR can do, and I would say the same for the zoom outside. If you are looking for a great walk around the camera outdoors to take pictures and videos with the light of day I recommend the series handsdown Panasonic and you will get several hundred dollars ahead. The high-level superzoom bridge cameras now have many functions manual SLR camera to do and do some good shooting and burst. Panasonic video is decent.

What a Digital SLR will give you the inside is much better, portrait, low light shooting. Also allows you to deploy and use skills advanced. The compensation is the highest price of the body, more body / lens or expensive, lightning, etc … DSLR accessory is not cheap. The DSLR will also require you to understand photography and especially the depth of field, shutter speed, etc. ..

The 500D is a camera with a superb display and easy to understand menu. The kit lens, I would just say OK. Construction quality on the camera body (Based on hand-touch, weight, and visual inspection) seems better than the entry level Nikon and Canon XS, but my E-510 seems to be a unit solidly built. The same thing happens with Kit Lens Kit with any brand of lenses that all great, but I think that the Olympus lenses make better photos. However there are more choices of lenses for both Canon and third party sources. As Amazon has a discount package when you bought the unit 500D, also picked up the 55-250mm IS Lens, I prefer more supply kit. (I also have the basic objective Olympus 70-300mm which is similar to the price appears the Canon 55-250mm, and again have accumulated more in the same price range.)

Inside, the Canon has a range of sensitivities ISO better than the E-510, but both take pictures that look very detailed and there is little or no noticeable difference between Located wise in his capacity interior lighting or flash use. Outdoor low light the Canon wins Oly. The Canon also has a better autofocus system and concentrate better in low light. In zoom ranges, I think the difference is significant as the 5 megapixel Canon 250mm objective of solving the same level Full details of the zoom and Olympus did with the 300 mm in full extension (actually a 400mm zoom equivalent to a 600 mm front, so I think this is awesome.) Both give a better image, then the FZ18 when you hit the ball, but I think the camera automatically for novice shooters bridge gives results more consistent then the reflex.

Part of this can be when you get a really good digital SLR, and when it is a bit out of it is easy to see that DSLR takes to "pop". The potraits near or extended is that even a very new photographer real difference When Moving to a digital SLR. Thus the absence of image noise because the larger sensor. (If purchase a product from the family and rarely think of using a tripod, I always advisable to obtain a stabilized body of the camera as Olympus, or make sure you find the Canon IS lenses and others. It really makes a big difference in this you can do with the camera as a novice or an amateur photographer.)

As a camera fixed on target = "_self" title = "Canon EOS 500D"> Camera 500D is an excellent option, especially if you take your first digital SLR. If your photos are still the primary concern, but I would say you can get a digital SLR camera like the cheaper 620 and Xsi or E-pass price difference better lenses. The 500D is the camera at the same price I paid for my kit lens E-510 comes with two, and 70-300mm zoom. I know that some of the differences I mentioned above are partly due to the difference of two years on the camera model and that these differences are limited to the current cameras cheaper model this year.

Video, however, was one of the main reasons that went with the 500D camera. There are moments that are good for capturing video and audio instead simply still photos alone. It may now be able to do so in a limited way, to get DSLR quality photos is great. Bring a camera is better to make two to do the same thing. I would say the 500D camera and for what it is. Inside rolls with less noise, then a small sensored camera would, but the lack of interior light does still hurts like all video cameras. I do not know if the light shoes Camcorder Canon 500D would work in the House or not. That would give me Canon accessories. Outdoors in bright light it better. When SLR gives a lot of variety in how to take photos is still limited as to do the same now with video.

A dedicated high-definition camcorder for still better served by taking photographs of scenes in which the direction and range of change rapidly and where you need to take long sessions at a time. The 500D camera is not designed to record video for long periods because of the heat, which degrades the image quality and the manual will probably give a warning of overheating after one hour of use extended and I think that can put the camera down. (I think the same thing would happen if you set the camera to view live during this time too.) Therefore, the establishment of a tripod to record say that his playing basketball for children is not what it is capable of. If you're like and yet I find that most of the video shooting happened daily minutes long at most, it works. I have been using the 720p video Most of the time that the 1080 does not control the movement itself. I also found a card six classes or more (again the manual says) is a requirement for the video Good 720p. (A class of four will work, but you will notice a loss of images their inabilty to continue the flow of data. Class 4 to take still works well but can reduce some of the most long bursts).

I gave this camera 5 stars because really for what you pay for. Yes, you limitations in video mode, but when you think about what you get for about $ 750 in this unit compared to what the same amount of money has been only 2-3 years ago I think it's a great camera. Takes great photos again and HD video OK. If you have a digital SLR camera that is 2-3 years and are mainly interested in still photos, I will not say Release level. And like I said above, even if this is your first camera and not worry about video is less costly options for great pictures yet. If this is your first digital SLR and want to be able to make some videos (as for upgraders) there is nothing now and it is certainly the way forward. Torn between this and a video camera HD for taking pictures, I would say that the video camera shoots 500D (with-in its limits) is a much better option, then the secondary has a photographic camera. I had a good HD video camera while traveling forward and pressed his photos and I would have liked that the device 500D offers more than that, even if one considers all 500D camera.

As the battery, lens and memory cards compatible? Thank you. The My concern only thing is the battery. I have lenses that are compatible and I have an SD card from my old equipment still there.

The lenses are compatible. Both can use EF and EF-S. Memory cards are different … The XT uses CF cards, the XS uses SD cards. Batteries are also different.
