Canon Lenses Tamron
Need help choosing lenses for Canon Rebel XTi SLR!?
I want to get into photography and have been planning to buy the Canon Rebel XTi, but I am a low budget for lenses. I wonder which of the following three lenses are best in January. Tamron 28-80mm lens angle of view 7.7 Construction 75 ° -30 ° Type of rotation zoom aperture diaphragm blades 6 Minimum Minimum Focus F/22 27.5 inches (0.7m) Macro Mag. Ratio 1:08 Filter Diameter 58 mm Weight 237g (8.4 oz) Diameter x 2.8 x 2.8 inches long. (72 x 70.4mm) 2. Cosina Lens 80 mm Type-28 Zoom 28mm focal length lens – 80 mm maximum objective. Opening f/3.5-f/5.6 Groups / Elements 8 Elements in 8 groups Minimum zoom type of rotation. Aperture f/16 Minimum focusing distance in 19.68 Filter size 58 mm Dimensions (diameter x length) 2.7 x 2.9 in, 3. Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Objective
1 and 2 are more or less the same. Not too different from the lens kit, except it will give you a little closer to 80 mm zoom. If you want one of these you can find a used one pretty cheap (even the Canon model). It a lens kit for the film version of the Rebel Alliance, as is the 18-55 kit lens for the XTi. 3 is the one I have and I think it's a good lens for the money. It is a fixed focal length, no zoom, if you use your feet closer. That's what hangs most of the people. But it has an aperture of f/1.8. That means the larger and allows more light (the lower the number the larger opening), it is better for low light and bokeh (the subject in focus but blurred background.) If you do not think using the flash, this is what I get. It is also sharper (but honestly most people wouldnt be able to tell the difference). You might also consider 75-300mm lens. If you do not have a telephoto lens and it really would be very useful with the kit lens. When buying lenses its best to save and buy the right lens. Buy too cheap cost only in the long term.
