Canon Lenses Vs Nikon
Nikon vs Canon – the camera manual first, help?

I like the Nikon D60, but I like Canon's more, any advice? Pros and cons? It's my first manual camera, so I'm not looking for something very high standard. I would like a cheap, and any advice on lenses would be appreciated! Thanks!

Buy EOS Rebel XSi – Excellent entry level dslr

Why EOS Rebel XSi I can buy?

I can buy EOS Rebel XSi after I was very disappointed by the quality My internal image of Nikon D60 with f> 8.0. When Nikon D60 fails miserably, the Rebel XSi has been excellent. I usually take indoor photos with F8 or F11 Group to ISO 400 (Flash ON) and off-excellent! They are very strong and have very good details, I do not even need ISO. Would give 5 starts to the sensor on this thing is just incredible!

The best camera is the glow in the dark (inside) and the sensor of the Rebel XSi has the ability to overcome something in this price range …

The other thing about the Rebel XSi is gr8 for the other 90 $, I had the opportunity to buy a lens gr8 portrait lens 50mm f1.8, cousins. This thing is so fast not need Flash to take pictures of all Potrait of my children. I like the lens!
tion.

Overall I am very happy with this unit. The one that's annoying, it support flash flash for Nikon AF vs AF-assist lamp. The AF flash offers printing on a badly about when the photo is taken and it is very annoying. God thank you, I have enough light in my house (where they make most of my photos inside) the flash is AF Assist needs only about 10% of the time. I wanted to buy a Speedlite to solve this problem so that I can give + bounce flash, but was a waste of money Speedlite Opteka (a star) and a barrel (430 EXII) is much $ $ $ for me.

So for now I'm just happy with the regular flash …. Da A good show most of the time (for potraits I focus on faces and photos of groups, I focus on dark clothing for a good exposure with flash).

I also only with the central point of discussion 90% of the time because it is faster and more accurate.

EOS Rebel XSi Buy – Good for photographers amateur

superb camera for amateur photographers beginners. I always had a digital point-n-point at the long but a new gun point and shoot camera and a trip to Niagara Falls changed his mind. I was so impressed by the quality of the gun camera and image. I became interested in photography of semi-professional. Then I looked at the digital SLR.

Rebel XSi is a great camera. If you get serious about photography than I do then I recommend this camera. All the bad reviews that I read here on Amazon to see how the camera has had problems. But this is not true, for defective goods, the camera is good is the goal to be cautious. The device is comfortable to hold, not so heavy, and a heck of a lot better than point-n-shoot I had before. It could take some time to get used to putting all the buttons are, and moving quickly between. Many things are overwhelming with this unit if you never owned a digital SLR or courses in photography. For example, when the buttons are learning all the functions are, and the thing more difficult is to learn about opening, shutter speed and exposure. But do not stop, if you take the time to learn, then you'll be fine.

Price was here in the Amazon. FAR was the lowest price I saw when the new computer.

Purposes what has for 18-55mm IS lens is a very good. Looking through all the comments, you will see many problems with autofocus. The trick is that if the lens can not autofocus, simply switch to manual focus. You may wonder if, "How often should I do?". The answer, not much. The only time my autofocus camera had problems shooting at night without flash, and targeting the open. Sometimes you get some households (depending on the stage and cool) that the camera wants to focus on something closer to your subject. As the firing through the tall grass or sod. Probably just want to move to FM on the scene I do. I mean, after all, is one of the main reasons that I have a digital SLR, a focusing system. It a good goal.

Overall, great camera, great price, great quality. I am happy EOS Rebel XSi Buy.

Digital SLR Camera first. Canon XTI vs Nikon D40 (40x) vs. D60?

I am currently using the Canon Rebel XT/350D through my photography class in college. I found a site that has a decent price cameras, and I have the following options: Canon XTi with the standard 18-55 Nikon D40 Kit with VR kit lens 55mm-200mm lenses 18 and 55 or the Nikon D60 with 18-55 VR lens kit, all for about the same price. I like the lens further with the D40, but the child will Mpixels enough? Basically, I want to take pictures of things every day, extreme sports often really my thing, but the landscapes, nature, etc. will be. Macro also too many pictures. I wonder what the camera will do. Thank you in advance. Forgot add, is the x40 worth the extra money?
