Help with my canon power shot?

I have a digital Canon Power Shot SD1200IS. I still want to take pictures of my friend in his belly dancing shows. But restaurant lighting is so dim, and I do not want your blind with a flash. But if the shutter speed, the image is too dark. ISO granulated ago and I can not find a good balance. I just want to take pictures that are blurry as hell, that you can actually see.
