Canon Powershot 1100

When first suggested I write a review Canon PowerShot A1100 me rather reluctant. I had a digital camera for a number of years, but never could understand what he says. It has several buttons and when I take a picture I do not remember what they all do. The other thing that disappointed me is that I do not like much the camera seems that every time I the battery is discharged.

At first glance, I do not think that Canon would be different but I must admit that I was wrong. I was glad to see that regularly uses AA batteries. I have been using rechargeable batteries, but if I find now that cells are dish can borrow another camera and even take pictures.

Then I saw that the buttons on the top of the camera, and believes that the revised Canon Powershot A1100 can not be very positive. There are three separate buttons on the top of the camera, but soon realized that there is more than the on / off, circle around the button zoom and shutter controls on the left button to select preset modes that come with the device photo.

So here, but then I saw the buttons on the back of the device that has multiple uses and obviously my opinion took a turn worse. Fortunately I soon realized that they do things differently if the camera is shooting mode or playback. I also discovered that the camera can be set to fully automatic mode that is really a case of setting up and then point and click. Better still, the images it produces are very good.

The last obstacle to consider for my exam Canon Powershot A1100 is the software supplied with the camera. Sometimes the installation software and its use is not as easy as you might expect, but in this case I have not had any problems.

As you can probably say that I am now a big fan of the Canon Powershot A1100. It is easy to use and you can point and click, you can experiment with different settings. Of course, the main criteria for selecting a device must be produced and this is where Canon excels. The images are crisp and clear and colors are all alive and true. So, if you're in the market for feature-rich, easy to use the camera and click on the item, then I hope this brief overview Canon Powershot A1100 showed that should be high on your list.

Which Canon Powershot model should I purchase?

I’m torn between the SD 790, SD 890, and the SD 1100. All have IS and have great picture quality. I know all of the technical specs but want to get an opinion from someone who has a more developed opinion than my own.

Camera, in general, will be used for indoor shots of children. Once in a while we’ll take vacation-style shots of vistas and small-medium sized locations. Most print-outs will be 4×6 with the largest being an 11×17.

These three cameras are very similar. I wouldn’t choose the SD790 IS because it has no viewfinder. A camera with no viewfinder means you are 100% reliant on the LCD to compose your images, which is not a good idea. But, if you think you can live without one, then don’t discount it.

I’m just going to say…go with the new 8MP, SD1100 IS (also known as the Ixus 80 IS in other parts of the world). It has good reviews and if you like a body colour other than silver, then it’s the one to get. Plus it’s fairly cheap to buy.

If you think you need 10MP and you want the longer zoom (5x versus 3 x), then the SD890 IS would be ok. But, it does have a slightly slower lens at both ends.

Whichever camera you select…remember to attach the wrist strap and ALWAYS use it. It’s insurance against falls. And, keep it in a small case to protect it when not in use.
