Canon Powershot 870 Is

I can not download photos from my Canon camera, help!?

I have a laptop with Windows Vista and am trying to download photos from my Canon PowerShot SD 870 IS via USB cable, but phone is not the camera at all. I installed the sotware that comes with the device, but still no luck. Can you help me please?

Sounds like the drivers are not installed, what happens with Vista a lot. To see if you can download from the Canon Web site, if you are not using a USB card reader to transfer images.
