Canon Powershot A1100 IS, batteries?

Ok, so I bought the Canon PowerShot A1100 IS, while making one. I love the camera but the battery life sucks so bad. I can only hold the camera for about 20 minutes, maximum. I was wondering if anyone else has these problems with the length of battery and if someone could suggest some batteries that work well in the camera, or how I can keep a little battery life. I've tried using Kodak alkaline and Energizer batteries already. Should I try some NiMH rechargeable batteries? Any help? Atmosphere: I am fairly new technology of the camera, but I'm sure you can watch the videos you've taken the camera with sound. If that's what you mean?

hey you have to use those 2700 mAh NiMH rechargeable AA batteries! that are a bit expensive, but I always used to use them for my Canon PowerShot it stopped working from today. I have this lens "shiet error signal that constantly appear, I guess I need a new camera. Well, those 2700 mAh AA NiMH batteries usually last about two hours. BTW, really just Google for "Canon Powershot A1100 and landed here, so I was wondering if you have a new camera replays with sound on your desktop CAM? PLEASE ANSWER ME, CUZ I NEED fast hope TO BUY A NEW CAM ASAP but not sure if you have this feature REPLAY IN MY VIDEO CAM AS OLD! M
