I would say to stay away from Sony and go for the canon. Canon Sony camera are excellent and so aspire. That's just my opinion though. I have sony digital camera and is TERRIBLE! It does not take good pictures in the dark at all and you have to be perfectly still just to get a clear image. If it is a choice between Sony and Canon I ALWAYS choose canon.
