Is Canon Powershot A480 a good digital camera?
I have had a Canon Powershot A75 camera for about five years and now want to get a new digital camera. I’m thinking of the Canon Powershot A480. It has received fairly good ratings (4.7 out of 5), but some people have said that battery life is an issue. Anyone have any similar experiences? I think Canon are generally a good make, I haven’t had any problems with my old camera.
Is the Powershot A480 a good one to get? Would be grateful for some advice, especially from someone who has used this camera already.
Yes, it’s a very good budget priced entry-level camera with very good image quality. It’s main problems are slow flash recycle times and poor low light capability.

What brand of Rechargeable batteries work best for a Canon Powershot A480 Digital Camera?
I just bought one…
Stick with a name brand like Duracell or Energizer and youll be fine. I just bought a pack of 4 aa Duracells because they had a higher rating of 2650mah than the 2450mah Energizers. I read Duracell now has a 2700mah battery but my local stores dont carry it. The higher the number the more shots you will get.
Avoid the “bargain” batteries with no name brand.
