How I can make my sound better cam pill?

Ok, so iv have a Canon PowerShot A480 digital camera when using the video mode that does not sound very good collection, but I have seen comments on youtube with clear sound recording of the camera. I took him back to where I bought it and they said it was fine, nothing wrong. Is there any way to make the record sound better for this camera? Fuck the sound is normal, the camera's microphone is cheap, in the camera, and not just very good. You do not have external microphone port, so an external microphone is out of the question. That leaves you with the use of sound recorder entirely external, and replace the audio track on the cam with external audio track recorded in subsequent processing.
