Looking for a camera that takes pictures of high quality and good zoom?

I am looking for a camera that has very good zoom and has very good pictures high quality and no delay (well, almost no delay) when you want to take a picture. I'm a novice photographer, so do not need to know which camera to take pictures of scenery or people (and everything in between). I am currently using a Canon Powershot A580, but I want something better than that. I have only fifteen years so I have no much money on me. Is there a camera that meets those requirements around $ 300 or $ 400 mark? What about Fuji camera good?

I I use a Canon Powershot SX10. It has a great zoom (X20) and is very strong. I think it is a very good all-rounder. The price is not too strong. Personally I do not like Fuji Cameras. Canon are much better.

which is better:canon powershot a580 or panasonic lumix dmc fs3?

all things considered – its down to the little differences for me. battery, manual options, etc.

I would buy a Canon before I’d buy a Panasonic. I’ve had a Powershot A540 for over two years and I love it. Have never had a bit of trouble with it.
