Canon Powershot A630 Flash Not Working
Canon PowerShot users. My camera flash broken?

I have a Canon PowerShot A630, when I turn the flash on the picture is very dark. When I turn it off, the image is bright, but fuzzy. The film recorder works perfectly (without flash). The flash fires yet, but what is happening here? I am not a photographer so I have no idea. I am using the camera in AUTO. I changed it to manual and photos can be seen in ISO 200 (very bright in 400/800). I still think that something may be wrong with the flash, since it seems much shorter than it was before, and multiple flash red-eye and do not go out.

What normally happens in this case is whether the subject is too far from benefiting from the flash. The camera assumes the flash is working and will give a presentation very short and then as the flash is not there as a result get a dark image. When you activate the flash, the camera compensates for long-term exposure. With a long exposure, if not perfectly constant holding the camera, you get a blurred image. What I do is put it in manual mode, increase the ISO to 400 or 800, but is actually dark (the photos are a bit grainy, but much brighter), and then exposure to something that will not get blurred, as 1 / 10 or a little depending on the subject quickly. The LCD preview will show what kind of brightness settings you are given.
