Canon Powershot Battery Nb-4l
Should I get the Canon PowerShot SD1000 package? 10 points?

SD1000 package is like $ 180 and includes: the royal chamber 1 Gigabyte Secure Digital Memory Card. 14-in-1 memory card reader USB. AC / DC rapid battery charger. The compact digital camera case. Flexible Mini Tripod. Ion Battery NB-4L lithium. Package of LCD Screen Protectors. And the basic things that comes with the real camera like a regular battery charger thx all

Sounds like the camera is refurbished. Therefore, do not really recommend you get the SD1000, for now is an older model (published in early 2007) and also lacks IS (Image Stabilizer). All new Canon models now have IS, which is better. I recommend getting something newer like the SD1200 IS (which costs less than U.S. $ 200). It's generally a better camera than the older SD1000. House packages are usually a waste of money. SD or SDHC memory cards are cheap to buy. You will need a relatively fast (category 4 or 6 gears) something like Sandisk Ultra II and Extreme III. What type of card is included in the package? 1 GB not much, so I recommend you get 2-4GB in place (especially if you want to record videos). The camera is usually supplied with its own battery, so do not need an extra. But as the camera is probably refurbished, original battery might not be as good. Who knows … The battery usually only takes about two hours to fully charge. You can load at any time, so you can give a quick top up if necessary. A mini tripod is likely to can be purchased for a few dollars (if you really need it.)
