Canon Powershot Battery Pack
Your opinion about the Canon Powershot S3 IS?
Just got it yesterday, along with a carrying case (scream!) And a battery pack rechargeable with a device to recharge the rechargeable batteries! I was curious as to what they thought were the advantages and disadvantages of this camera?
I do not agree with Erica in her first two points. We have an S3 and the battery life is excellent, batteries are usually in the week, as it is not in use all days, but if I had to estimate I would say that over 600 shots before it needs to be changed. We use Maha / Powerex 2500mAh rechargeable batteries. And secondly, a 2 "LCD is not is nothing to mourn, taking into account most of these cameras are only 3 "tall. I SE would not comment on as I have argued in general has pretty hands and I'm used to holding the heavier cameras anyway. As for my own view, the advantage is clearly the 12x zoom. That and the property 0in super macro are the two best features of the camera. The image quality is phenomenal, has the ability to adjust the flash output, fits in your pocket. downside, can not really think of any. Ok, here's one – was not built in discussions to set the lens filter. And the lens cover is a bit flimsy and may break loose. Just another minor annoyance I can think of is that you have to manually raise the flash. As you can see, the disadvantages are minor cosmetic problems enough. I'm sure it will love the camera.

How long does the battery last NB-6L? If it does not last six hours at least, can you suggest another?
