What is the best – Canon Powershot A590 or Nikon S550?

Canon – PowerShot A590 8.0 megapixel digital camera or Nikon – Coolpix S550 Digital Camera 10.0MP – Blue? I currently have a Canon PowerShot A530 5.0 megapixel digital camera that I love. Unfortunately, dropped it, so I'm thinking to buy another camera. I was going to go with the Canon, but I saw the Nikon and is a 10.0 MP camera. Opinions please! I am thinking of buying a line at Best Buy. Thanks!

I have the Nikon D80. I bought because my old Nikon SLR had been so good for so long, since the 70s. I was hoping my attachments to work, but did not. I love the performance and ease but do not like the Bl / Gr color they are too intense. You can adjust the white balance, but I have not gotten hardly right yet. The editing software is easy to use. Overall would give it a 9 out of 10. Have Fun. PS. I found lots of lenses to be very reasonable on eBay.
