Canon Powershot Cnet
Which camera is better?

I'm getting a camera in a few days and decided that I do what I should get one. Canon PowerShot SX120 IS http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/canon-powershot-sx120-is/4505-6501_7- 33765882.html? tag = mncol, lst, 8th http://www.testfreaks.com/digitalcameras/nikon-coolpix-l110/ Nikon COOLPIX L110 The fee is about $ 50 cheaper depending on where you buy it. But money is no big deal. They both run off of AA batteries is a scam. Any owner of these cameras? I am also looking for something that has good videos.

I know you are looking for one of the two (go to Nikon, I would say me), but if you are willing to consider other options, the new Kodak EasyShare are pretty good, and take pretty good video (not HD, but still pretty good for something is not a video camera). Operates on a battery charge when you connect the camera to the wall, so you save on batteries. And if you get a good memory card you will have several hours of video. But God help you, not wet.

which is closer to being a DSLR ..?

Nobody has better high-definition video, the other better design .. which are about the same image quality [I] and I'm not sure he [more manual control both something.] * Yes, I know this is not the kind of SLR. but it is best we can and I give him who has the best features and image quality .. I take my camera everywhere and want something ahead of its class thanks! :)

Both cameras are good, but not really all features you would expect from an SLR type. Canon lens has a large better and better. No comments state that has the best quality image for its class. characteristics associated with SLR cameras are that the viewer see through the object and the image is taken (Even if it became a little less of a problem with all the terms of "live view"), a shutter lag zero, all the manual controls, interchangeable lenses for different situations and the ability to mount accessories like an external flash-based shoe. This does not everyone of these cameras are a bad choice, but do not be disappointed that they did not "SLR like" properties.
