Canon Powershot D10 Waterproof Camera
Canon PowerShot Waterproof Camera D10?

I am thinking of buying this camera and want to know if it is a good camera. Now I have a Canon Rebel X is I love it, but I want a camera that does not have to worry. I want a camera that can be used in aquatic activities, and I can let my children use without worrying that it will break. Has anyone had problems with this camera, if so what were they? Was it easy to use camera under water? Interchangeable face plates are easy to change? And most importantly, how the images come from?

After much, much more online research, I recommend this … http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-D10-Waterproof-Stabilized/dp/B001SER460/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1248873316&sr=1 -4 & Tag = aor-sale-20 and linkCode as2 camp = 1789 & creative = 390 957 are good prices and free shipping. We had an Olympus 1030SW. We were pleased extensively with it with only minor problems such as the lens cover not coming open. That is until he died on the last day of our vacation in Mexico. The photos were not bad, but certainly not great. I decided to replace when the Canon. WOW. The picture quality beats the Olympus out of water. I've seen some complaints does not have a lens cover, but trust me. These problems have all their own institutions. The camera is a little bigger and bulkier, but nothing that can not be ignored. The only think that the Olympus had in the Canon was a warning on the LCD screen when the lids do not close completely, although not to a difference in mine is not waterproof. I would recommend this Olympus on any day of the week. I hope you like it. Good luck!
