Canon Powershot Digital Camera G10
Digital camera help please!?
I am thinking of buying a digital camera (Canon PowerShot G10 in particular). What else is going to take a 6X4 or 5X7 prints. However, if I set the maximum setting of megapixels in the camera and take over sized prints will be the quality of my photo more crispy / better than a lower resolution setting? What I'm basically trying to figure out whether a pixel is optimal for a photo size or automatically going to be getting the crisp images, provided the options of my pixel is maximum?
3-5 Megapixels will be fine for the size prints. There is almost no difference will be a higher resolution if only as large print. However, if later decide you want to print larger, you can not increase the resolution of an image that already have taken. I'm pushing and then delete the photos from my camera after moving to my computer (which I can if I want to change the size). If you have a large enough memory card, which should not be a problem.

Ive got between £ 400 – 500 pounds to spend on a new camera, I want something functional, but easy learn and use. one that attracts me is the Canon PowerShot G10 and Panasonic Lumix G1, im still not sure of the NPC, I prefer something smaller compact.should I get digital high-end or low-end DSLRs.
I was on an entry-level digital SLR range. If you get a point and shoot, all that can be upgraded batteries and memory card. With a digital SLR, it opens a new world of photography. If your worried about the size, look at the Olympus E-410 and E 420 -. They are the smallest on the market for digital SLR (in fact, weigh as much as the Panasonic G1 and PowerShot G10.) On the other hand, do not worry about the low resolution 10-megapixel digital SLR camera. If you do not make a size images poster, you'll be fine. Go to a local photo store and try each camera. The people who will try to go in the right direction.
