The digital display on my Canon PowerShot SD1000 shows only black, but I'm able to review old photos?

When I try to take a picture is only black, all I can see is black when the screen lights up when I take a picture, but when I review the pictures already on the memory card are well. I suppose some connection is broken, but nobody else has had this problem and does anyone know what I can do? How I can fix it because I need as soon as possible to my camera?! It is not just a problem of forgetting to press the display button. I have done on numerous occasions not to use Thanks!

All I can say is bring it to where it was purchased and request a new one. Do not take it to be fixed, do not fix it yourself.
