Canon Powershot E18 Error
Do you keep your little digital camera in a heavy Zip-Loc bag to keep out dust, even inside the camera case?
I just bought a Canon PowerShot A530, which is nice generally but which seems notorious for being part of a family of entry-level Canon digital cameras susceptible to the dreaded “E18″ error, apparently typically associated with dust or fine grit having gotten into the lens arrangement (the lens extrude automatically before the camera is ready to take pictures).
nope I never heard of doing that and moisture might actually form in the ziploc bag. Its better to get a bag like the one in the ebay auction below.

Canon Powershot E18 Error

I have a Canon PowerShot A510 …?
and fell on my bed and now the goal is generally open and close … when I walk, He just made a noise, then click on the screen says "E18" I've learned is the term for when the device has a goal of "error", which was then off … so with the objective figited batteries and examined how to fix it on the internet …. no network solutions workers … and I just tried to start it again and it shows the opening "gun" logo, then freezes … the only way is to turn, pull the battery … What should I do? is that is anyway to solve this problem? … Because I am trying to avoid going to BestBuy to replace …
