What digital camera would be the best to take beauty & fashion photography?

Hi there! I run a beauty blog where I must take very close up and detailed photographs of my work to post on the blog. I currently have a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 MP camera which is about 6 years old. I am looking for a camera with a flip-out screen, I was looking around at the Canon G11 Powershot with 10 MP, but I wanted to hear what some of your camera gurus had to say. Thank you!

Canon Powershot G11 Digital Camera

Which digital camera is better- Canon Powershot G11 or Sony DSC Wx1 ? Cost no problem.?

Sony DSC Wx1 is better than Canon Powershot G11. It is more stylish, has got better features and it is less expensive. I don’t know about the pic. quality though. Sony has 10.2mp and Canon has got 10mp.
