Canon Powershot Is Digital Camera
I am thinking of buying a Canon PowerShot digital camera.?

I've fallen by two-camera. The S5 IS and A650 IS ", does anyone have this camera? I would love suggestions on which one thinks is best. I want to use the camera for photos of nature and get my very lively 4 year old son. Thank you all for your help!

Hello, Here are some positive aspects for Canon PowerShot S5: 1) Size and weight is light and not bulky for small hands. 2) The Canon LCD can be set at many positions, with its unique hinge system. You can hold the camera head or the ground level. You can turn it around for use as monitor to take photos or videos of yourself. 3) The multiple shooting modes will appeal to many casual photographer. The movie mode works very well. 4) The S5 uses 4 AA batteries. Many argue that this is an approximation to the former. I do not. I had run out of juice with the lithium ion battery power cameras. Nothing is more frustrating after a camera that is without power. AA batteries are available throughout the world, are relatively inexpensive and relatively lightweight. Again, consider that the use of AA batteries in the S5 to be an asset and a reason to buy the camera. 5) Very good face detection. 6) the taking of pictures responds very quickly. It is a factor very important for people to have a bunch of pictures of children who never stop moving … 7) Use DS cards – cheaper and easier to find than XD. 8) This camera can be used as a video camera with zoom and focus all functional. Although most of the camera can take video, the zoom is not the function that makes them not is very useful. Few can fully functional camera as the camera and camcorder. This is the perfect camera to do both. No need to buy a camera more video. 9) A real lens cap will not miss 10) outstanding customer service by phone Be patient with your S5. It really is a great camera if take the time to get to know. It's really worth looking through the instruction manual or control of a how-to on YouTube.
