Why Canon Powershot A560 I start?

I just changed the AA batteries in it, lit it and asked me to reset the clock. I turned it off, with the intention to connect to my laptop and connect to your program. Now no lights and equipment not even recognize it's there. If the battery CR1220 little is dead, the camera will turn off completely? Does a short way from the camera or the overhead when connected via USB to my laptop? Is there a defect in the camera? Is there a reset button as if it's on my iPod and I Kobo?
