What is a really good digital camera?
I am looking for a camera around the $ 200-300 range that takes quality pictures. I have a Canon Powershot A590 and is not taking the pictures than I expected. I'm looking for something that makes images clear and clean with the light settings. I hate cameras taking pictures stained orange in the dark. I need something with nice settings. I'd love a DSLR, but do not have $ 500 for one. Names, models, ideas are appreciated!

I have a Canon PowerShot SD780 and when you turn off the flash that makes the images a long orange-ish … I do not know how other Canon cameras are similar or if anyone else has this unit, but how can I solve this problem? I mean Canon PowerShot SD780 IS
