You may think you've found the perfect digital camera with the Canon Powershot S5 Pro Series. Especially if you are looking for something more than a base point and shoot, but something less than a DSLR complex and costs. But there's a good chance of evil. Canon cameras usually Digital beautiful, but for some reason have had some serious design flaws with the series PowerShot S5 Pro.

image noise is a serious less S5 Pro Series camera. The fear of encouraging a trend towards increased consumption of more megapixel Canon S5 has unfortunately built sensor image more megapixels can handle. A few years ago was a valid criterion for measuring the value-megapixel digital camera. This time however, has passed. Unless your planning to blow up your photos poster size, a little more than 5 or 6 megapixels is redundant. Or worse, as in this case, severe criticism of the quality of the image with the introduction of noise in image too much for a camera in this price range.

problems red eyes should really be a thing of the past in any camera of more than $ 200 these days. It seems that the digital camera S5 do not use even the most basic red eyes tactical preventive (pre-flash) in the battle of red eyes. The software comes with reduction S5 Red Eye has built, but it is less rosy. Depending on the angle of vision of the object may or may not remove the red eye artifact successfully.

point cheaper and shoots, and even a certain point more expensive and often take a problem with blurred or soft edges on your photos. I do not expect not find in a series of digital cameras Pro series, but it is there. If your main problem is usually framed in the center of the photo, this should not be a problem. However, if you want to shoot lots of landscapes and big picture scenario will not be satisfied with the results.

One other issues with the PowerShot S5 include:

– Absent Autofocus help

– No RAW or TIFF mode for fans after Retouch

– Double-swallows four AA batteries at a time

– A lens cap to the old (you have lost or left)

Not to worry, from here things just get better. There’s an abundance of nicer cameras competing for your dollars in this category. Including the SX100IS, and Pro Series S3 . . . both from Canon. Canon generally make great cameras, just not this time.
