Canon Powershot Refurbished
Where I can sell a camera operation (not on eBay or online in general)?
I have two cameras that do not work for reasons unknown Canon Power Shot S2 IS and a Nikon COOLPIX S550 with box, instructions and cable loading and more. Do not know why neither work I think the PowerShot only was old and my Nikon COOLPIX'm sure my son had something to do with this … To be honest, I hated the COOLPIX and was glad to have a reason to buy a new PowerShot. I did not know if there was anywhere they could sell them where they could be repaired and sold as refurbished? I do not want them online at Ebay or anything, I prefer to take them to a store or place of the camera. We do not accept and pay $ $ for them? If so what store?
Like you said, you can take a camera store – or donate them to Goodwill or Salvation Army)

Digital camera eats batteries. Has anyone tried this before?
I just bought a new Canon Powershot A550. The type of rechargeable battery that I used in that was used until about 9 shots, but he warned me that this can arrive at this guy. The batteries in the box of wine did not last long either. Since sending it for repair could lead to get a reconditioned unit, nobody has yet found a solution to this problem than to spend money to repair, or can someone tell me what I could do wrong?
normal alkaline batteries just do not do it for digital cameras due the high instantaneous current required to run a digital camera. (This includes all batteries as "Duracell" and "Super Heavy Duty" etc.) This type of battery will be displayed the unit flat, even when they are not simply because they lack the capacity to give camera what he wants. Some places still sell rechargeable nickel-cadmium (NiCd), and these batteries can be cut to digital cameras. There are also rechargeable alkaline batteries and they are not great either. The only type of rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride GET (NiMH) and a higher capacity, better. This ability is usually classified milliamp hours. A medium capacity battery for a camera that is 1600 mAh, while High capacity battery 2000mAh will be over. Some go even higher than 2600 mAh. Get the highest possible. One downside is that NiMH batteries are died in the camera when not in use. In a device that uses two batteries, it can happen in one week. My advice is to get a couple of sets of high capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries (2000 mAh or more) and use them as much as possible. But also buy a game or two lithium batteries (Non rechargeable) these last a long time, but the damage expensive. Having a set of lithium for backup in case of need the vaccine, but rechargeable batteries are all levels. Once you can put the newly recharged again and again to keep the lithium reserves. lithium batteries used will last for years. Many devices photo have a menu option that can flatten the battery before you recharge it. ONLY IF you are using NiMH batteries is this a good idea. Suppliers say that NiMH are not prone to memory effect and therefore should not be completely flat before recharging, but it is not true. NiMH batteries must be discharged before recharging. If the camera can not automatically download, then continue to use the camera until you go over, then reload. Hope this helps.
