Canon Powershot Remote Software
Stop Action / Claymation: Video What software do I need?
More than 20 years ago I made some films claymation short 8 mm film. I have more ideas for fun-frame, but have no idea how to do digitally. I have a Canyon ELURA 70 of 2005ish. So far I see no way to shoot frame by frame with this, maybe my camera would work (Canon Powershot S5is), but there is no quick release or remote? No matter what, I need software. Any suggustion is quite useful, if not made by Corel (which super invasive Snapfire photo program came with my computer is sooo frustrating m * Da). I do not want to spend a chunck big change, but I want something capable. Let me know if you used the software that you know can do this type of work, costing and worth what you paid. I visit regularly and can leave the details, so feel free to leave questions. If you have done some action stop, which use the camera and software use. (I'm running Vista Home) Thanks, Krane
Adobe After Effects is the standard, but look here for other some of which are free. And remember that any camera that takes pictures can only be good for what you are trying to do. But remember to use a tripod. There are lots of examples of the action ceases to do with everything from the cheapest cameras for the Canon 50D or Nikon 700 that are large amounts of money. You just jpg be able to transfer to the program. Best of luck and we'll see the results.
