Movie Mode / WEBCAM for Canon PowerShot A640?

Can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to use this camera as a webcam? I downloaded the firing zone and the distance PS but can not find a way to start capturing images and then get it all catch my yahoo messenger. I have my addy e-mail in my profile, if you need more information or to share with me there? thanks for the help. Just do not want to spend money on a webcam knowing that my camera can do.

From what I've found (I was looking for how to make my powershot a webcam for video chat) is that the camera digital are limited, since it can not capture video directly to your computer. The software to convert your camera into a 'webcam' only takes stills. The source i is referred to a blogger who encountered the same problem. How do I get my shot at a distance to work?

I have a Canon PowerShot SD750. When I click on distance shot, the button turns black and does not allow me to click. What should I do? Well, yes, how can I set the camera to this mode? I want to solve this so that I can use as a webcam.
