Canon Powershot Sd1100
What is a better camera, the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS or Sony DSC-W120 Cyber-?

Trying to find out which one is more popular between the two cameras for a Christmas gift. I'll take the vote of the majority that the answer I get all of you here in this forum.

I would go with the Canon PowerShot. Currently I have the Sony Cyber-shot and although it is a great camera, it was a great buy. My sister recently bought the Powershot (yours is a 6 MP) and I like it more than mine. The main problem I have with the Cyber-shot is that speed is not fast enough CASI shudder. This makes the most of the photos you take (even of things yet) to be blurred, which is very frustrating. The Cyber-shot has a great video recording and image quality, but the blur problem is unacceptable. Cybernetics also uses a Memory Stick Duo card instead of SD, MS Duo are more expensive and non-members as well as with its other electronics / computer unless all Sony style (like me). The Powershot has an adjustable frame rate and the same resolution, it is definitely a better buy. Remember, Sony is going to collect more money just because it is Sony … Hope this helps.

What are the differences between the Canon SD1100 and SD1000?

I was wondering what are the differences between the SD1100 SD1000 and why and The SD1100 is a better camera. Thank you!

The main difference is that the current SD1100 comes with image stabilization. There SD1000. Good luck no!
