Canon Powershot Sd1100 Is Battery Charger
When buying a digital camera from Dell, it comes with accessories?

I recently purchased a Canon PowerShot SD1100 Dell is still being processed. it was not clear if the battery charger is included w / the camera. when I went into other stores and Canon's website shows that the charger is "Included" in the box. Dell may not include all original accessories, however, the same price? I'm going to call to find out, but I'm just and curious mind if I realize I have to pay more for something that should be included. thanks!

by the way, we will send whatever is necessary to operate the camera

Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS on Amazon?

This’ll sound stupid, but does the Canon Powershot SD1100 IS (Blue) on Amazon come with a battery charger and all the stuff it comes with on Canon’s website? Because, I looked and all it really talks about on Amazon is the camera, it never mentions a batter charger or the cables or anything. Please no stupid answers like “Don’t get a Canon, get a Kodak!”

Don’t worry, the camera comes with everything you need (except for a decent sized memory card, of course).

This is what you will find inside the box…

The 8.0 Megapixel PowerShot SD1100 IS digital camera
32MB Secure Digital memory card
NB-4L lithium-ion battery
Battery charger
Wrist strap
USB cable
A/V cable
CD-ROM featuring Canon Digital Camera Solution
225 page camera manual (printed)

You will need to buy an SD memory card because the 32MB card that comes with the camera will only allow 8 high quality (superfine/large) images. A fast card is best…the Sandisk Extreme III is what I recommend (especially when recording movies). Most reviewers use this card for their camera tests…and it’s cheap to buy.

Each 1GB allows approx. 278 high quality images. So, 2GB is probably a safer bet and will allow some extra room for some movies, which eat up card space rapidly (1GB in only 8 minutes).
The camera’s default is probably set to Large/Fine…so you will need to change it to Large/Superfine for the least compression (best quality) your camera offers.

p.s. I would advise you to attach the wrist strap as soon as you get the camera because these ultra compact cameras can get a little slippery sometimes. It will absolutely save your camera from a fall.

Also, it would be a smart idea to buy a snug fitting camera case for it…which will protect it from knocks and scratches, but it will especially protect that lovely high res. LCD from getting scratched.
