Canon Powershot Sd600
Does the Canon PowerShot SD600 battery will be charged by USB?
I'm in Shanghai and my parents forgot to bring your charger. The battery is quite long-term consideration. I have my laptop with me but I have usb charger for my Verizon XV6700 Pocket PC phone. Can the camera is charged via the USB or do I have to look for a new battery charger? Thanks in advance.
Nope. According to the manual, 2LV charger should be placed directly in an outlet and charger 2LVE must be connected to a power cord that connects to the output. No USB connection for either model. Sorry.

Sd1200Is Canon – they gave me the biggest factor WOW I wanted or expected
After four years of using the challenge to (and love) my SD600, the two batteries have not been charged, he was either $ 80 for two new Canon batteries (I know I can get the notes, but I I do not think that last as long), I decided to spend money to the new target = "_self" title = "Canon SD1200IS" SD1200IS> Canon.
The only trial for one day because when I came out of the box, the LCD had a huge scratch on it, so I knew he would return. But I had a lot of test shots to see if she really loved and wanted to buy it. Given that failed to consider all aspects the camera, which was my overall review on the value of a test day shots? In one word: MEH.
There were high and low-benefit and drawbacks. I'm sure it would grow to love, but there are certainly things I like and things that are not.
CONS?
* The power button is harder to turn (rather than a single hand as I usually do because I'm running to take a snapshot of milk). It does not stick as much as on the SD600. (In the 600 I could drive fast the large button with my fingernail. The Canon SD1200IS button is flat and it is more difficult to achieve.) Other comments that we would not, because they want to turn your product by accident … but in four years I have used this camera, I've never had to activate inadvertently into a pocket, purse, bag, etc. .. I do not like the new button style. I am sure that time, I used to … but my first impression was not favorable.
* The selection bar (between Auto, Program, and video) is not so easy to slip the 600 – and a little more difficult with a hand as well ( that is how I used to use, especially when taking pictures of the baby). Once again, I think the button has been raised during the 600 that the Canon SD1200IS. I can drag the bar in 600 by the feeling of clicks as it moves from one state to another – Film and easily go and come easily. With the Canon SD1200IS, I had to pay attention to traffic and often exceeded the state that I wanted. Again, I am sure with time I get used to it … but my first impression was not favorable.
* The car does seem not at work and I thought it would be – I have a lot of blurred images too dark and too bright, I really thought that normalization with AUTO rented. And I was sure that I have done things (hold the button down halfway, etc.), I really wanted to love the new features view because currently using the program all the time to adjust the amount of flash (so I can take close-ups of the child without the blind or to add more flash when dark in the room) and Self Care should be taken. Maybe I just need other tests? But there Again, you should have – because he is AUTO.
* The strap is not adjustable. This is not something I use much, but when I want, I want to be there (as a tour carnival or hang on the balcony of a cruise ship). It's just a small thing, but this could be a great thing, if it is something that causes the loss of his camera. (If I bought this camera again I would change the straps with my camera over, 600.)
PROS?
* The ability to use a 16 GB HDSC! Pure heaven … especially since I took about 1,000 images per month of kidlet! The 600 can handle a 2 GB card which corresponds to a large number of photos and am often away from home for so long that I can not download the pictures … but I like having a space and 16 GB is enough to take tons of photos, and long videos without having to modify / delete photos as you go.
* I like the play button specific (rather than being the cursor).
* This camera takes the form easier and better macro photos of all I had. Pure awesome. (But how many times do I need? Not much.)
* Some shots automatic flash was better than expected. Our room is about 18 feet long and often dark. I took a quick test shot of the kitchen and the whole room lit up like the day!
* Most of the menu options are the same as my 600 so that the learning curve is not too high.
* I like to be available in the colors. Silver tends to get lost in the confusion congestion on the counter in a bag. But the colors really stand out so it is easier to find quickly.
Therefore, I will buy this camera again? Honestly, I have not decided, but I'm leaning towards probably not. I was really excited the idea of a new / better / faster camera … but it does not give me the WOW factor I was principal wanted and expected. And as you know, with cameras, the next step is just around the corner …
