Canon PowerShot SD700 IS ELPH my digital photos gone!?

I was playing with my Canon PowerShot SD700 IS Digital ELPH and the Settings tab is a format settings and pressed me and asked if I wanted to format my memory card, I click yes and my pictures were lost, is there any way to recover?

Format = delete may have luck with PhotoRescue. The demo will tell if anything is recoverable before buying the application. DO NOT use the camera until you have tried to rescue the photos. All new photos have just written about the data may still be there.
