My Nikon D40 charger work in Europe?

I'm going to Spain, France and Italy in a week, and I wondered if my Nikon D40 charger could work there with an adapter. My Canon Powershot SD750 charger works through there with an adapter, but I'm not sure if Nikon charger will. I see no reason why it would not. In the Charger Nikon says: 120V 60Hz ~ Thanks for any help. Oh, now I see (in the best impression yet) that says: Entry of Foreign AC100 – 240V 50/60Hz I have a converter, but I guess I just need the adapter.

The charger should read "Foreign 100-240V 50-60Hz ~" … try searching again. I have six different Nikon chargers and can be used anywhere, as long as I take the plug adapters.

loading a camera with a battery charger?

Is it possible to download a digital camera with USB cable instead of using the battery charger? I need to know if I have a Canon PowerShot SD750 and without battery charger.

No, unfortunately not. I ended up buying a new charger from Amazon after my first was stolen. Of course, the Knucklehead that stole my charger had to buy a new SD750 simply use it, so I dropped my hand. This particular camera model can not load directly from a USB cable, even if the power cord can. Your best bet is to get a replacement or purchase of Canon Charger Amazon or another third website.
