Canon Powershot Sx200 Is Review
Having trouble buying a new camera?
I made a desision between these two cameras that both have similar features, but I'm not certain what is the best deal? Canon PowerShot SX200, which is $ 349 http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Canon_PowerShot_SX200_IS/ or Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 / ZS3 which is $ 290 http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Panasonic_Lumix_DMC_TZ7_ZS3/ So if anyone has any of these cameras, which one is best? Thank you =)
Canon has better image quality
Canon Powershot Sx200 Is Review
One of the first things you notice about the PowerShot SX200 IS, it seems a little confused. Is this a slim body chamber through a professional camera, or a reduced version of a professional camera placement in the class semi-professionals? The reason for this confusion is not too difficult to understand. It is the objective of long, wide angle positioned bang in front of the camera. But if you are able to look beyond this design flaw heavy, you will see the beauty behind the beast.
Like all new Canon cameras, there is a load of options that make this camera a dream to use. The SX200 IS has two modes Auto. The property "Intelligent Auto" allows the user to select up to 18 configurations. These adjustments are the main classified as stage lighting conditions and image composition. If you want to go the manual route, you can take countless hours of fun while experimenting with different settings options. If you like the video, will really benefit from the resolution of 1280 x 720. However, when it comes to video recording, optical zoom is off (exercise rather pointless). The three-inch LCD rear offers a wide enough viewing space.
Another nursery is the flash miserable. I wonder why the designers put it where they did. While the left side of the camera is actually paralyzed by the presence engine flash it and there's absolutely no grip, especially because the body itself (even if not) is very slippery. Irritating, the flash is every shot, regardless of whether you use it, use or not use at all. There may be depressed, once you do this and I wonder who were lost in this failure fundamental design. Even the discs are fairly tight and efficient use of space seems have been a priority. I would like to believe that these ergonomic features not affect the performance of the camera, but it is difficult to ignore them when they destroy usability.
In conclusion, although the resolution, Wide and with the objective of technology that contribute to this unit are the best in the class, the disadvantages are more than a little overwhelming. This departure from the overall experience and it would not be an option recommended anyone who is seriously considering taking advantage of his day by clicking on the pictures. It is, without doubt, a good camera, but it could have been much better!

Hello, Here is a link to the magazine that matters – a direct comparison between the two devices are interested in (with a few others) conducted by the very highly respected and independent dpreview.com: The Panasonic http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/q209grouplongzoom/page16.asp TZ7 ZS3 called in some countries. The link is the conclusion page, but there is more to read if you're interested. The conclusion reads as follows: "The Canon SX200 is certainly a very decent camera, But I can not see why you choose a ZS Panasonic (TZ7). "It looks like a fairly solid conclusion – buy the Panasonic! Good luck.
