Buying a digital camera … which is better?

'm Trying to decide between Olympus Stylus 1010 and Canon Powershot SD880IS. Does anyone have some of these cameras? O suggestions for other good quality point and shoot digital cameras?

Digital cameras: Canon SD780IS or SD880IS?

I'm looking to buy a compact digital camera <$ 300 and plans All of the foregoing. The 780is was just released in March, while the 880is was published in 2008, so I'm having some trouble finding reviews reliable for the 780. if anyone has experience (or preferably both) of these cameras, please share! tyvm:)
