Hi folks! I am looking for a good camera store in Montreal to buy Canon Speedlite 580EX II flash and Battery for Canon 5D. Any suggestions? What is the largest photographic stores in Montreal? and also what is the least expensive? For example, in Toronto – the are larger (Enrique www.henrys.ca), and Vistek (www.vistek.ca) while the best for the price (IMO) Aden Camera. I wish I had the same information for Montreal, if possible. Thanks!

Lozeau would be the largest – in the cheapest http://www.lozeau.com/ at the time when I bought my 5D MKII – http://photoservice.ca/ there are some smaller specialty stores as well, but have no experience with .. I prefer photo service due to the location of the center, and I like his rental service as well.

It is a good flash. There are many dealers (actually retail sellers). No one gives you less than MRP.

Visit Mount Road-EllisRoad area (Just opposite the Anna Statue) many shops are there you need to negotiate with their prices. Couple of shops are there in Spenzer. Again you need to negotiate the price. Couple of shops in Ritchie street (By the side of Casino theatre)

Alternative is to check in BurmaBazar (be warned ! is not a good place !)

MRP Price : approximately 23800. You negotiate and can reduce. Rupee had depreciated in this several weeks. So the price may be high now !
