My flash that I used for my Canon Rebel 35mm work with my new Canon XTI digital?

I bought a Canon XTI digital camera and has been using a 35mm Canon Rebel. I know that the lenses are in agreement, but was not sure about the flash. The flash is older, but it worked very well when used with my 35 mm.
