How I can display on the LCD screen of a Canon EOS Rebel Xsi digital SLR camera than I am shooting in automatic mode?

Shows Standard battery life and remaining shots, but I have to look through the viewfinder to see what they want to shoot. In the instruction manual that shows me to be able of view the subject on the LCD screen-just do not know how.

It is called "live view" and is a trick. Any serious photographer, not only a "complement" shooter, always use the viewfinder – is the most accurate because it looks exactly what the camera display.

After four wonderful years, finally sold my Nikon D70. To date, I still miss you. I have a D40 shortly after, but anyway not feel quite right. I could not complain about the picture quality is certainly better than the D70. The problem was that it was boring, just to go through the menus to locate the ISO settings, white balance, card format, etc. I've never had this problem with my D70 have dedicated buttons that made customization much easier. In addition, the D40 has no autofocus lens with my 50mm 1.8. Thus, after three days without using it, I returned the D40.

Then I checked the 40D, D80, D300, Rebel XTi and XSI. All cameras were large and they all came with excellent photos. But for me, is the price, ease of use and functionality that matters. I 'm not a professional so that the 40D and D300 were too expensive for me. The XTI is a great camera and is sold at a good price, but I felt it was a bit outdated. The D80 is also a good camera, but I felt I needed an update on the features. I had to clean the sensor and comes with a VR lens. So basically, I would like to buy a camera model 2006-two years after its launch. This is not fair.

I would not say was love at first sight when I found the Canon Rebel XSi at Circuit City. But I realized that I put in my hands. I tinkered with it, has explored the characteristics and found that he had direct access buttons that make it much easier to change settings device. Well, yes, I still click a few more buttons to change the white balance settings and format the card, and Auto ISO is not as accurate as the Nikon, but a great device. Other than the three, all other buttons to access other functions are there. I particularly loved the histogram for each RGB color sample cultures.

The XSi also has excellent picture quality, good skin tones and very little noise. D80 I would have received had the same features in XSI, ie, self-cleaning sensor, to Highlight tone priority, and pre-packed RV. I still like the D80, with the exception of the XSi wins because it is a 2008 model and has the same features as the 40D 1DS pro and semi-pro. It may not be the best SLR ever, but it is the best SLR camera everywhere for me.

Getting the best SLR camera, is never an easy thing, especially with way digital technology is constantly changing. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful websites online, that can narrow down your search and help you find the camera with all the features important to you.

Is Canon Rebel XSi good?!?

I was wondering if the camera was a Canon Rebel XSi camera.As good image quality, the structure Or good and if there is a goal that is best about the same as the price of the Canon. Etc, Thanks =)

The Canon XSi is an excellent camera and give you access to some excellent glass and durable. Although there are other systems of cameras 35 mm base, only one is used by professional photographers and of course it's Nikon. You may want to enter a camera store and see which camera fits in your hand the best and who has the button and the menu is easier for you to browse. The entry-level cameras of the two systems, there are cameras D60 and XSi .. If you have the budget, look at the Canon 50D or Nikon D90 as a starting point.
