Canon Powershot Sx20 Is Review
The pictures are not clear, why? HELP!?

My camera recently got ruined and I was looking for something with 12 megapixels or more, and something with an optical zoom at least 12 times. 2 weeks ago I bought a Canon Powershot SX20 IS, which was dissappointed with the quality of photos, these do not seem sharp. I was surprised, thinking it was one of the best options for a point and shoot camera, and ended up returning it. Then I got a Fuji S1800, based on revisions that seemed promising in view of the price. However, once again encountered the same problem. Am I doing something wrong? I tried to play the settings, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? I was trying to photos on all configurations, under different conditions, different topics, from landscape to macro

There are different reasons your pictures are not clear in many different conditions of landscapes to macros. Just plain old different settings will not do anything. You can experiment to see what they do, but not violently turning a dial give clear images. You have to learn how to use your camera. Acquisition from different cameras or more expensive is not going to change your images in any case. As you no doubt have already discovered. There are many books and many videos from YouTube and many sites to learn the basics of photography. Below is one I like.
