Which lens is better (you choose)?
and what do you use? EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Canon is both
The 24-105 lens is a much much better. There's a reason it costs double. That it really comes down to what you need and your style of photography. The 18-200mm is much wider. It is wider at the far smaller and much more time in the telephoto. The image quality is good but not as good as the 24-105. In addition to correcting the previous person. The 18-200 has an opening slightly larger than 18mm, but does not change soon. It is an objective variable maximum aperture. It is a 18mm F3.5, but the opening is getting smaller as the zoom. It is 200mm F5.6. The 24-105mm F4 is from 24mm to 105mm.

Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM vs Canon EF 200mm f4.0L 70 -?
Why should I choose the Canon EF 200mm f4.0L USM 70 Canon EF-S 18-200mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS? It seems that the Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens is better because it has IS OPENING the least and can remove more .. Then why would anyone get the EF 70-200 f4. 0L USM on the lens? Also, what is the maximum objective OPENING both? The 18-200mm .. The isint 5.6 is the max OPENING gravity? That would be horrible ..
Canon L lenses are known for their fantastic quality, much better than the non-L lenses. I know several people who have including the lens L and we all love. The lens L has a maximimum (ie, largest) opening f/4.0 throughout the focal length of the whole. The others can be as large as a 18mm f3.5 and 5.6 200 mm, both, of course, you can go much, much smaller openings, too. Then yes, the range is better, but there is a significant difference in quality.
