What camera is better suited to my needs?

I have the opportunity to fulfill my career in fashion photography and I want to buy a new camera (now I have a Sony DSLR). I have about $ 5,000 to play, I'm torn between a Canon Rebel XTi or III Canon EOS-1D Mark.
